Due to the extreme width (230cm) and heavy timber construction of a frame this size, gas-strut lift mechanisms cannot safely support the combined weight of the frame and a super emperor mattress over time. To ensure structural integrity, smooth operation, and long-term safety, we keep our Super emperor range to non-lifting standard and platform frame styles.
