What bed sheet size fits a European double bed?

For the crispest look, we recommend using dedicated Euro double bed sheets, but using king sized bed sheets is a common hack. King bed sheets are roughly the same length but are about 10 centimetres wider than an EU double bed. Therefore, it can work best if you tuck the excess under the mattress. 

Is an EU double bed big enough for two adults?

While an EU double bed is technically wide enough for two people, we describe it as the ultimate luxury single. At 140 x 200cm, each adult would only have 70cm of space each, which is narrower than a small single bed (76cm). For couples, we recommend stepping up to a king size bed or even a small super king.

What is the recommended room size for a European double bed frame?
