What size is a small double wooden bed?

Otherwise known as a queen size bed, or three-quarter bed, the small double bed frame measures 6ft 3” in length and 4ft in width, as standard. This should be more than sufficient to allow two adults the desirable amount of undisturbed sleep. Is a small double bed a queen size bed?

Yes, a UK queen sized bed is the same as a small double bed. They both refer to bed frames that measure 6ft 3” in length and 4ft in width.

The term “queen size” is most often used in the US, where the measurements tend to be different, as a US queen size bed usually measures 6ft 8’’ in length and 5ft in width, making it considerably larger than a UK small double bed.
