Our Story: A Legacy of Handcrafted Beds

Crafting beds in Britain is a tradition we’ve refined over the years, combining innovation with valuable customer feedback to perfect each design. This month, being National Bed Month, we wanted to showcase not only our commitment to making the perfect beds, for the perfect bedrooms, but our passion to making truly robust and unique products.

Our founders, Jonny and Jean, share a passion for design - one as an architect and the other as a carpenter. Their journey began in a small garage in Leicester during their student days. Merging their skills allowed them to breathe new life into an outdated industry. While our bed range has evolved since those early days, our made-to-order approach remains at the heart of what we do.

Beds may not be new, but finding one that is durable, suits your style, fits your space, and arrives swiftly is rare. This gap in the market drove our vision, to offer high-quality, customisable beds without the long wait times that have frustrated so many.

Initially, we were unsure if offering extensive personalisation was possible. Customisation at scale is notoriously challenging, but we were determined to make it work. Through careful planning, hands-on management of the entire process, and a team of skilled craftsmen with years of experience, we’ve achieved just that. Today, we continue to lead the industry in custom-made beds, proving that passion and expertise are a winning combination.
