How Much Weight Can A Platform Bed Hold?

How Much Weight Our Beds Take

We’ve found our bed frames can withstand 474kg, or 75 stones in weight. This is achieved by the use of slats which are twice as wide and thick as those found in other bed frames. Each is screwed into position for maximum durability. Our large beds include a central support rail. We also use 100% solid wood in all our bed frames, cutting no corners in the production process.

Why This Matters

A supportive bed and mattress is key to the perfect night's sleep. A bed that moves can be comfortable and causes broken nights sleep. Continuous movement within a bed frame will also cause it to deteriorate over time, making it weaker. This eventually causes it to break. Our bed frames are designed to last a lifetime and come with an 11 year guarantee.
